Metallurgical Product Description

A white solid substance separated after the desalinization operation is called silicon slag. Because it contains alumina and alkali, it is usually added back when preparing raw ingredients.Silicon slag is a mixture containing mainly 40% to 90% silicon and is a by-product of metallic silicon. It is a good substitute for ferrosilicon in steelmaking and has the advantage of reducing costs.

Silicon slag separation
