Product introduction

TZM molybdenum alloy refers to an aluminum alloy containing 0.4~0.6% (wt) titanium, 0.08~0.12% (wt) zirconium and 0.02~ 0.03% (wt) carbon, also known as molybdenum titanium zirconium alloy.

Its process is that powder metallurgy product standards comply with American standards ASTM B386 364-1 and alloy medium and thick plates, sheets, strips and foils.

Product performance

TZM platinum alloy sheets are characterized by high melting point, high strength, high elastic modulus, small linear expansion coefficient, low vapor pressure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance, and excellent high-temperature mechanical properties.

Compared with pure platinum sheets, TZM alloy sheets have better high-temperature strength, higher recrystallization temperature, better room temperature plasticity, and better welding performance.

TZM alloy plates and TZM sheets are mainly used for high-temperature components such as rocket nozzle throat linings, flight rudder splints, etc., metal thermal processing molds such as die-casting, extrusion molds, etc., heating elements in high-temperature furnaces in vacuum furnaces, heat insulation screens, etc.
